The Echo Pond Camps

 

Echo Pond Junior

            Age Group: 7-9

            Length: 3 days, 2 nights

– An introduction to Echo Pond for our younger campers

– Build confidence, independence, and make new friends in a fun, safe and welcoming camp environment

– Activities will include swimming, canoeing, campfires, crafts, beginner map-reading, shelter-building, and lots of outdoor games

 

Echo Pond

            Age Group: 10-12

            Length: 5 days, 4 nights

– This is our original camp program, developed in 2015

Activities will include swimming, canoeing, campfires, storytelling, crafts, nature interpretation, orienteering, big group games, shelter-building, trouting, yoga, and campfire-building

 

Echo Pond Advanced

            Age Group: 13-14

            Length: 5 days, 4 nights

– Will offer all the fun of the other Echo Pond camps, with the opportunity for some extra challenge

– Activities will include swimming, canoeing, campfires, storytelling, crafts, nature interpretation, orienteering, big group games, shelter-building, and skill-building activities such as trouting, yoga, and campfire-building.

Echo Pond Out-Trip (Wilderness Adventure Camp)

            Age Group: 14-15

            Length: 4 days, 3 nights

– The first night will be spent at camp, participating in team-building activities, learning and practicing the skills needed for the Out-Trip and getting to know each other. Camper will spent this first night in the bunkhouse.

– One day two campers leave camp for a two-night canoe/camping adventure, that will include canoeing, portaging, sleeping in tents, cooking over a fire, and learning useful wilderness survival skills. Campers return to base camp on day 4 before heading back home.
